Getlegal is owned and created by NCVO, the largest umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in England.  All legal content has been produced by BWB, a leading law firm servicing a wide range of commercial, statutory, charity and social enterprise organisations. Editing, design and website development has been carried out by communications agency Society Media.

CIC Regulator

The CIC Regulator is an independent public office holder appointed by the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry. An independent official, the regulator encourages the development of the CIC brand and provides guidance and assistance on matters relating to CICs.

ACEVO

The Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations, ACEVO connects, develops and represents the third sector's leaders and has been providing support and advice to its members for 20 years.

CSC

The Community Sector Coalition is an umbrella network that supports the work of national voluntary organisations and the community sector. This sector is made up of small informal networks and community groups that improve quality of collective life and tackle social exclusion.

Co-operatives UK

Co-operatives UK works to promote, develop and unite co-operative enterprises. It has a unique role as a trade association for co-operatives and its campaigns for co-operation bring together all those with a passion and interest in co-operative action.

Leadership and Governance National Support Service

The leadership and governance National Support Service, is a programme funded by Capacitybuilders, and is lead by NCVO alongside Acevo and CSC.  It aims to strengthen the ability of support providers to provide development support in governance and leadership in order to increase the effectiveness of third sector organisations.
